Quick Software Implementation and Revenue Increase at CHRISTUS Health
Software implementation projects can be challenging, especially for large multi-hospital systems. However, CHRISTUS Health found implementing Picis LYNX E/Point® in 22 hospital emergency departments and Picis LYNX C/Point® in two hospital-owned clinics to be a smooth experience. More than 20 facilities were implemented in 32 weeks, and CHRISTUS Health saw an increase in previously unrecognized revenue of more than $30 per patient.
“I was very impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness of the LYNX implementation. It was evident that they are very knowledgeable and experienced with implementing their solution and possess a good depth of project management skills.”

Sentara Healthcare streamlines workflow with Epic-to-E/Point interface
The investment in a new electronic medical record keeping system (EMR) can be considerable. In an ideal situation, interfaces with other hospital software are used so work is streamlined and duplication of effort minimized. Sentara, a long time LYNX client, implemented Epic in 2005 and worked with LYNX to create such an interface. Picis LYNX E/Point, which has helped bring Sentara an estimated $78.7 million in cumulative additional appropriate revenue since 2002, works in a seamless manner with Epic because of the Epic-to-E/Point interface.
“By partnering with LYNX, healthcare systems can experience similar success by taking full advantage of the benefits that both technologies have to offer.”
