LYNX Medical Systems Launches New Modules to Health Information Management Software Suite

Latest software modules optimize workflow with enhanced accessibility to remote locations

February 28, 2004—Bellevue, WA—LYNX Medical Systems today debuted the addition of M/View and M/Link to their suite of health documentation and revenue management software. The addition of these two modules offers healthcare providers enhanced electronic record workflow management with secure access to remote locations.

M/View electronically records and distributes records to authorized users, including those with secure remote access. This browser-based software automatically records access to charts, ensuring full HIPAA compliance. M/View provides real-time access to patient records, including scanned images, transcripts and/or text-based files, while automatically providing an audit trail. This module can send email notifications to specified follow-up physician(s) for each patient record. Preauthorized recipients simply click on the record link, log onto the system and directly access the electronic record.

M/Link is browser-based coding workflow management and documentation imaging software. M/Link streamlines the coding workflow process by allowing HIM managers to batch, assign and monitor coding for both on- and off-site coders. Productivity and quality measurement reporting is available to HIM managers to better manage coding workflow, decrease turnaround and reduce overall coding costs.
