Coding Process
Documentation accessed. LYNX accesses patient information and completed documentation remotely via a data connection with the client site.
Codes assigned. An experienced LYNX coding specialist assigns codes using LYNX’s E/Code software.
Data made accessible. Completed coding information is transferred electronically for upload into the client’s abstract and billing systems. Coded data can be viewed online at the client site, viewed remotely by LYNX or printed for easy distribution. Clients have access to E/Code’s diverse range of financial, operational and practice management reports. Clients may print their own reports from a selection of standard reports and adhoc query tools that provide a wealth of information that assist department managers in evaluating the clinical and financial performance of their department.
